Exchanges, Returns & Warranty

At Atrani Studio, each piece is handmade with intention, detail, and care. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your order, we provide clear and fair conditions for exchanges and returns, in accordance with current European consumer law.

1. Pre-Order Items

If you purchase an item on pre-order, the estimated delivery date will always be clearly displayed on the product page. You may cancel your pre-order at any time before shipment by contacting us at support@atranistudio.com.

Once the item has been shipped, pre-orders are no longer eligible for cancellation, exchange, or return unless they present a verified manufacturing defect covered by warranty.

2. Inspection at Delivery

We kindly ask that you inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging or the product, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the issue. This allows us to assist you promptly and, if necessary, open a claim with the carrier.

3. How to Request a Return or Exchange

You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange.

Option 1: Self-Serve Returns (Recommended)

You can submit your return request directly through your customer account:

Go to your customer account
Sign in with your email (you'll receive a one-time code, no password needed)
Select the order you wish to return
Click "Request a return" and follow the instructions
You'll receive return shipping instructions by email once approved

This is the fastest way to process your return and track its status in real-time.

Option 2: Contact Us Directly

If you prefer, or if you checked out as a guest, you can email us at support@atranistudio.com with:

Your full name and order number
The email address used at checkout
Reason for the return or exchange
Clear photos (if applicable)

We will respond within 24-48 hours with instructions.

4. Shipping Conditions for Returns or Exchanges

All returns and exchanges must be sent using a tracked and insured delivery service. Atrani Studio is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged during return transit.

We exclusively ship and receive returns to and from customers' home or business addresses. For security reasons, we do not use pickup points (Point Relais) or untracked postal services.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, except in cases of manufacturing defects covered by warranty.

Estimated return shipping costs:

France: €7 (Colissimo with signature)
European Union: €12 (Colissimo International with signature)
Outside the EU: €34 (UPS Standard International, with signature)
Express International (UPS Express): from €55

5. Exchanges

You may request an exchange within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, in accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code.

Eligibility:

The item must be unused, unworn, and in perfect condition.
All original packaging and accessories must be included.
Only items purchased directly from www.atranistudio.com are eligible.

Exchange reasons accepted:

Wrong size selected
Exchange for a different product or finish (of equal or greater value)
Confirmed manufacturing defect (see Section 8 – Warranty)

Exchanges are processed only after the item has been received and inspected. If the replacement item has a higher value, you will be invoiced for the difference; if lower, the difference will be refunded.

6. Returns & Refunds

You may request a return within 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order.

Eligibility for returns:

Items must be unused, unaltered, and in perfect condition.
Original packaging (pouch, box, card) must be intact.
Items showing signs of use, scratches, perfume, creams, or exposure to water will be rejected.
Custom, personalized, pre-order, or discounted items are final sale and non-returnable.

Refunds:

Refunds will be issued within 5–10 business days after receipt and inspection of the item.
Refunds are made to the original payment method only.
Shipping fees (initial and return) are non-refundable.

Returns must be sent within 7 days of approval. Please use a tracked shipping method; untracked or unapproved returns will not be accepted.

7. Responsibility During Return Transit

The customer is fully responsible for the returned item until it reaches Atrani Studio's atelier in France. We strongly recommend keeping your return receipt and tracking number as proof of dispatch. Atrani Studio cannot issue refunds for items lost or damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging or untracked shipping.

8. Warranty

All Atrani Studio pieces are covered by the 2-year legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

The warranty covers:

Structural manufacturing defects
Material flaws not visible upon delivery
Non-conformity with the product description

The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear, including fading of gold plating
Damage due to impact, improper handling, perfume, creams, or water
Repairs, resizing, or alterations made by third parties
Neglect or non-compliance with care instructions

Warranty procedure:

To make a warranty claim, email support@atranistudio.com with:

Your order number
Photos clearly showing the issue
A short description of the defect

If the claim is validated, Atrani Studio will offer a repair, replacement, or refund (depending on availability) and will cover the return shipping costs for approved warranty cases.

Please note that, as our pieces are handmade, repairs or replacements may require additional processing time. Each request is carefully evaluated to find the most suitable and sustainable solution.
