The brand

Born between Paris and the Mediterranean, we create jewelry that feels like stolen frames of a summer film. Our name comes from a tiny village on the Amalfi Coast just 0.12 km² yet infinite in light, in stories, in beauty.

Our world is made of sun on stone, shadows on white walls, late lunches that stretch until golden hour. We love imperfections, because they make everything more human, more alive. Each jewel is designed to hold that moment like pressing pause on something you never want to forget.

Our Muse & Inspiration

Our jewelry lives like a film: intentional, playful, and a little dramatic.

Atrani’s world takes its cues from icons of the French and Italian cinema of the 60s and 70s: Brigitte Bardot sunbathing in Saint-Tropez, Catherine Deneuve in pastel yellow on set, Monica Vitti in a mint-green dress on a Vespa, Jeanne Moreau walking through Paris in oversized sunglasses.

Their style was a rebellion made beautiful, pinks, baby blues, pistachio greens, soft whites. We take that palette and turn it into jewels that feel like stolen frames from a movie.

Objects of Emotion

Each Atrani piece begins as a sketch inspired by the Mediterranean its sea-worn stones, its curves, its light.

Our forms are sculptural yet soft, like bubbles frozen in time, like waves that leave their trace on the shore.

Every jewel is crafted in recycled sterling silver, bathed in 24k gold, using the lost-wax technique that preserves every curve and imperfection because we believe imperfection is where beauty lives.

Our color choices follow the mood of a sun-drenched afternoon: soft neutrals, translucent cabochons, a touch of warmth.

The founder

Laura Breteau is the creative mind and designer behind Atrani. Each piece begins as a hand-drawn sketch, where she translates organic forms into wearable sculptures; inspired by the sea’s delicate bubbles and the rounded stones found along the Mediterranean coast.

Her designs are fluid, imperfect, and intimate, echoing the quiet poetry of nature. Her artistic vision is deeply shaped by her years living in Italy with her family.

The warmth of its light, the elegance of its language, and the simplicity of its rituals marked her deeply. It was there that she discovered the beauty of what feels timeless and effortless and the charm of imperfection.

With a professional background in fashion and beauty, Laura has worked for global houses such as Estée Lauder, Kering, L’Oréal, Emilio Pucci, and Balmain. But it is through jewelry that she has found her truest form of expression, creating pieces that speak of memories, emotions, and moments that linger.
